It was also nice to know in the middle of the night if I had to run to the bathroom I wouldn’t be shivering while doing my business
Living down south I forget about different the weather use to be when I was up north. When I first moved out of my parents I moved into an historic building that was over 100 years old. The building and architecture itself was gorgeous and made me feel as though I was back in time. The heating system, however, was unbearable. Again the house itself was over 100 years old so the only heater I had was in my bathroom. This was ideal seeing as how I liked taking showers in the morning and would be able to enter the bathroom and take a hot shower and remove the curtain without getting a cold blast from the rest of the house. It was also nice to know in the middle of the night if I had to run to the bathroom I wouldn’t be shivering while doing my business. Now that I am down south I do sometimes miss having a bathroom heater as the weather can get a bit cooler and so taking hot showers it still slightly inconvenient. I do though have a much better HVAC system than the historic house, however, the system itself isn’t as strong as the heater so there are some nights where I get a bit too hot or too cold. During those days I think back to my old house and am grateful that I can at least get air flow throughout the house I’m in now compared to just in the bathroom.
