Coworker stole mini split system from office

I’ve typically heard that employers are seriously distraught about disgruntled employees after they leave.

  • It has not made much sense to me why this would be such a major issue.

I cannot suppose of any scenario in which I would retaliate against a past employer. I suppose that doesn’t mean I’m the norm. Apparently, there are lots of concerns with ex-employees coming back to their aged offices as well as trashing things. And they’ll often try to sabotage the dealer, fellow co-workers, or to vandalize important equipment. In some instances, they may also steal things from the office for their own use. I found this out the strenuous way when one of my co-workers stole our only air temperature control component for the entire office last week. This woman had been a real clown at labor for months! She hadn’t been doing her task as well as she was fired, appropriately. A week or two later, I walked into the office as well as something seemed off. It seems entirely quiet, as though there was some background noise missing. It took quite a while for me to realize that it was air temperature control equipment. My wonderful friend and I typically had a small mini split ductless heating as well as cooling system installed in the office that adequately provided us with the heat as well as AC my wonderful friend and I needed. As the afternoon went on, it began getting warmer as well as warmer inside of the office. I looked up at one point wondering when the a/c was finally going to kick into gear, only to realize that the entire mini split ductless heating as well as cooling system was gone. There were only wires hanging where the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C component had been. It sure was a boiling as well as humid week working without any AC… as well as it was also pretty embarrassing to have my coworkers mock me for being so in-observant.
