Living down south I forget about weird the weather use to be when I was up north.
- When I first moved out of my parents I moved into an historic building that was over 100 years old.
The building & architecture itself was gorgeous & made me feel as though I was back in time. The heater, however, was unbearable. Again the apartment itself was over 100 years old so the only heating system I had was in my bathroom. This was ideal seeing as how I liked taking showers in the afternoon & would be able to enter the bathroom & take a boiling shower & remove the curtain separate from getting a cold blast from the rest of the house. It was also nice to know in the middle of the night if I had to run to the bathroom I wouldn’t be shivering while doing my business. Now that I am down south I do sometimes miss having a bathroom heating system as the weather can get a bit cooler & so taking boiling showers it still slightly inconvenient. I do though have a much better Heating, Ventilation & A/C system than the historic house, however, the system itself isn’t as strong as the heating system so there are some mornings where I get a bit too boiling or too cold. During those mornings I believe back to my old apartment & am grateful that I can at least get air flow throughout the apartment I’m in now compared to just in the bathroom.
