Leave brunch by the A/C unit instead of the fridge

I remember opening that disgusting refrigerator plus finding mold, mildew, plus Lord knows what else growing inside.

When I was laboring in an office I absolutely did not care about the environment. I am a lot happier being at home, plus the comfort plus safety of my own apartment these afternoons. I know that my heating plus cooling system does a good task keeping me safe from the outdoor elements. Besides that, I keep all strangers out of my household to reduce the opportunity of contracting the COVID virus. Thinking back, nothing was ever this safe when I was laboring in an office. Even before we had to worry about a pandemic, it was clear that there were a lot of biological hazards hanging around the communal workspace. For instance, the breakroom fridge was one giant biological experiment that I refused to take part in. I remember opening that disgusting refrigerator plus finding mold, mildew, plus Lord knows what else growing inside. At the time, I did not want to ruin my normal brunch plans, so I began sitting as close as I could to the air conditioning units in our office window, but rather than sacrificing my brunch to the fridge, I would set my brunch basket right next to the A/C window unit which was consistently operating on the coolest setting. As the A/C unit blasted chilly air from the tiny vent, it effectively kept my brunch cool enough for me to be comfortable. I knew that the A/C window unit was always cleaned, because I arranged the professional Heating & Air Conditioning appointments. I figured, even if my food increased a few degrees while it sat in front of the A/C unit, it was still safer than letting it somewhere near that disgusting refrigerator.
