My brother is the luckiest man I know.
He just got offered to go on a cruise to the upper north region of the country along with a pit stop through Canada.
He was super excited because the weather up north is still fairly cool unlike where we live where temperatures are reaching the upper 90’s during the middle of the day. He has been sending pictures through out cruise and while the few is stunning he has failed to really take any pictures of the cabin he’s staying in. When I asked him about it I assumed he was just wanting to be outside to make sure he doesn’t miss anything like glaciers passing. Turns out, I was kind of right. My brother informed me that while the cruise was amazing, the cabin was uncomfortably warm and he only spent time in there to change clothes and sleep. When I asked if he brought it up to the cruise staff, he said he had, however, he was then informed that his cabin buddies were requesting it to be that specific temperature in the room. Apparently, my brother was a little bit more excited about the cool weather than his companions. He now has to quickly change clothes to ensure he doesn’t begin to start sweating whenever he is in the room. He said that the temperature while a bit toasty is fairly consistent so he was impressed by the cruise ship’s HVAC system in general. He is on his way back to our hot side of the country and is already dreading it but says that the cabin temperature has prepared him to come back to the heat so all in all the warmth wasn’t such a bad thing.
